Lakshmi, the goddess of money, prosperity, knowledge, and fertility, and Kubera, the lord of wealth and king of yakshas, are invoked in the sacred rite known as the Lakshmi Kubera Homam. This homam is especially beneficial for those facing financial troubles or business involvement. To perform this homam, the devotee must invoke Goddess Lakshmi, chant the Lakshmi and Kubera Mantra, and offer lotus flowers to Agni during the Lakshmi homam.
