Bhoomi Pooja

Bhoomi Pooja is a sacred ritual to please Vaastu Purusha Swamy and Bhoomi Devi. This is a crucial pre-construction ceremony that must be performed to restore the balance of the earth that is often disrupted during construction activities. By conducting this pooja, one seeks forgiveness and permission from Bhoomi Devi. The ceremony involves invoking the Vastu Purushan and Bhoomi Devi while reciting mantras for Ganapathy, Navagraha, and Vaastu. The pooja is performed in the Northeast corner of the land or plot. To choose an auspicious date for performing Bhoomi Pooja, one should consider the Vaastu time that occurs twice a month. The benefits of performing this pooja are manifold. It purifies the construction site spiritually, shields the future home and its inhabitants from various troubles, eliminates Doshas and ill effects, sanctifies all corners of the house, and brings good fortune and happiness to the occupants.
