The ceremony involves adorning these items with Santhanam, Kumkum, and flowers and performing Ganapathy and Lakshmi pooja to ensure longevity and effective use. Ayudha Pooja can be performed at home, in shops, and in offices. This ritual is believed to bless one's profession and business, helping one achieve success in both personal and professional life. Ayudha Pooja is a ceremony to pay homage to all the tools and objects used to earn their livelihood. Today, all the instruments and objects used daily are thoroughly cleaned and worshipped. The main samagri required for this ceremony are Aval Pori (puffed rice) and Vellam (jaggery).
